Learning to cook healthily at an organic farm stay in Tuscany

At the organic farm stay Il Cerreto we run natural cooking courses so you can create tasty, healthy menus at home too: from the ritual of picking in the vegetable garden and choosing ingredients, to the care and patience of preparing dishes that follow the philosophy of biodynamic farming.

Every Friday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., our chef Maria Probst runs a practical cooking course.
Here is an example of dishes you might cook in spring/summer: fried courgette flowers, aromatic salad with flowers and fresh fruit, handmade pasta with our flours (pici and cavatelli) and two different sauces. We will then use the wood-fired oven ashes to bake potatoes or aubergines in foil.
At the end of the course you can taste the dishes you have prepared, with a good bottle of wine!
A high-level cooking course in a family atmosphere.
